“But those who wait for the Lord’s help find renewed strength; they rise up as if they had eagles’ wings, they run without growing weary, they walk without getting tired.”
renew your strength
These famous psalmists words tell us how we can renew our strength.
You’ve seen the eagle soar and though, “Wouldn’t that be awesome”!
The wind does the work. The eagle has learned how to use it. It doesn’t have to flap it’s wings expending extra energy. The eagle can soar and rule over it’s domain. You can be like the eagle and accomplish what you set out to do and rule over your domain.
Mountain Body Strength
Weariness, tiredness and fatigue. All of us who have hiked a steep trail or climbed a difficult pitch know the feeling. Many of us feel the same after a hard days work climbing the career ladder.
Here’s how you can renew your physical strength. Wait on the Lord’s help.
What does this mean? Lord refers to God in a more physical sense. God is someone and something bigger than ourselves, but also knows our physical limitations. Where does stength ultimately come from? Our bodies get it from the food we eat.
So eat food that is good for you.
What about those who wait. When you wait, you rest. You spend less of your own energy and allow your body to recover from working hard.
So get plenty of rest.
Finally, we all need help. Talk to God about the help you need. It may be while hanging from a rock or hanging on to get the next deal. You need help. Do you want it?
So ask for help when you need it.
Good food, plenty of rest, help when you need it. We try to put a little bit of each in this month’s box to help you renew you strength so you can soar like an eagle!
